MEETING PLANNERS
Many thanks in advance for making the arrangements to set up the room properly. This will ensure your event is successful. Please feel free to call us if you have any questions whatsoever. We'll be happy to help....and we look forward to working with you to create a memorable, successful event.
For Keynotes:
AV
1. A wireless lav microphone
2. A DVD player & projector w/ screen large enough people to see
3. A CD player tied into the main sound system
4. A small table set up at the back (left or right, not middle) of the stage for presentation props.
5. No lectern or podium.
Chairs & Seating
The ideal set up is theatre style. If your room is pre-arranged in rounds and cannot be changed due to scheduling and production needs, crescent rounds are better than fully seated. All audience members need to be able to see the stage.
For Half-Day & Full-Day Workshops and One to Two-hour Breakout Sessions:
AV
1. A wireless lav microphone (for sessions over 30 people).
2. A DVD player & projector w/ screen large enough people to see
3. A boom box that plays CDs (its best if this is separate from the DVD player vs. a 2-in-1 unit)
4. A small table set up at the back (left or right, not middle) of the stage for presentation props.
5. 2 flipcharts & fresh markers. Scented Mr. Sketch markers are preferable.
6. No lectern or podium.
NOTE: for programs with more than 50 participants
Please ensure there is an 8’ x 16’ riser. Size can vary, but there must be adequate room for Shona to move around.
Chairs and Seating
Programs are highly interactive with a lot of group exercises. It’s preferable to have participants sitting at rounds but Shona can make it work if you’re required to have theatre-style seating. |
